LongBranch Library needs You (but you must have a green thumb)

So I was speaking with Dorota, the awesome bookclub librarian. She is looking to improve the bench area in front of the library. The possibilities are endless but they require your help. She is looking for young and elderly volunteers to come and create a garden project that will make the space more attractive:

Looking for enthusiastic gardeners to help create a sustainable garden in front of the Long Branch Library. Looking for youth volunteers (ages 13+) and adults.

Get your volunteer hours, participate in this community project.
Interested persons please contact Long Branch Librar...y to register your name.

back to school basics

How do you get ready for school?

Do you stock up on snacks?
Do you get all the latest crayons and backpacks?
Do you hit as many parks and movies with the kids as you can?

We want to know! send us a post.

Plus - how do you decide on activities for the kids?

sports vs music
piano vs violin
ballet vs jazz
dance vs drama
scouts vs family adventures

Would you like to see local, south etobicoke retailers offer back to school specials and support?
